The closer you can get the knots to match your lace, the better. If the knots are too light for your complexion, this is where tinting the lace or applying makeup comes in handy. The process of bleaching knots is not needed for wigs made with light-colored hair (i.e. blonde, pastel shades etc.).

What can I do to make the hairline on my wig thinner?

You will need some sharp tweezers and a thin-toothed comb. Part 1 inch behind the hairline on your wig, start plucking in a random fashion until you feel satisfied with the result. Don’t pluck in the same area for too long as this could lead to creating a large bald spot. REMEMBER IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO UNDERPLUCK THAN OVERPLUCK. Now pluck away a small amount from the 1 inch section that was parted away. Comb away the plucked hair with the thin-toothed comb to see the results clearer. Repeat these steps until you have your desired hairline.

I have bleached the knots on my wig but there is a slight orange/ brassy undertone?

In order to get rid of this you will need to wash the lace with any purple-based shampoo. You can leave this shampoo on the lace for 10-20 minutes for extra effect.
